MEET THE TEAM

Created in 2009 by three Part-I graduates from De Montfort University and the founder of Hill Holt Wood, Design:HHW has traditionally operated as a rolling internship for year-out architecture graduates. Now under the guidance of a permanent Design Team Lead the team operate as a small practice of four, opting for a collaborative and dynamic creative process that provides the most sustainable, economically and socially-beneficial design proposal.

Hollie Drake

DESIGN TEAM LEAD

Hollie studied Architecture in the nearby city of Lincoln before moving on to work at the woods. Hollie became the Design Team Lead after spending a year working and living in the woods as a designer. Experienced in the ins and outs of the Team, Hollie is an expert at keeping control of her motley crew.

Hollie currently holds the 'best phone voice' award.

Liv Harrison

DESIGN TEAM

Liv graduated from the University of Bath and plans to go to CAT for her Masters degree. Her final project focused on conservation, turning an abandoned council office into a community centre for artists and the general public.

She's also shown her flair for graphic design through the impressive work she did for her university's architecture magazine.

Brook

HILL HOLT WOOD MASCOT

Brook spends her time rallying staff and raising motivation. She is currently looking to take up the role of HR Manager.

Harry Waudby

DESIGN TEAM

Harry comes to us from Nottingham Trent University, having proven his knack for technical details through his third-year project, a timber pavilion built into a rock face.

His love for the construction side of architecture led him to volunteer in Porto, refurbishing the home of a large family in what must have been a hectic three weeks.
