Skylarks Vernacular Building
Since September, we've been hard at work at Skylarks Nature Reserve on the outskirts of Nottingham. The task at hand, to design and build a timber frame building with inspiration drawn from the late Anglo-Saxon period. So with the help of volunteers from Skylarks Experimental Archaeology we accepted the challenge! Wednesday and Thursday marked Chris and Bex's time to represent the business at Design:HHW's annual trip to Ecobuild, housed in the excel centre in London. The Pair spent the two days networking with like minded natural build businesses from specialists in straw bale to hemp crete and so much more. During the event they had the chance to meet up with Aidan our new to start design team intern. Every year it is great to see so many like minded businesses representing such brill
